Mykhailo met a full-scale invasion in Oleshky. Warehouses exploded, an airfield was under attack. Rockets flew overhead, the sounds of battle cut the sky. For the first few hours, everyone was in shock, but they quickly realized: everyone must act. Mykhailo recalls how the enemy could not gain a foothold for a long time, how our people fought desperately near the Antonivskyi Bridge, how the russians bombed their own helicopters due to the chaos. He saw the enemy shooting ambulances, civilian cars, dead doctors.
After everything he had experienced, Mykhailo wants to stay in Ukraine and be useful. He says that he has lost his illusions, but not his faith in people. He plans to volunteer or work in security - not necessarily in uniform, but definitely be useful.
